At last month's start, several new AMD processors were unofficially introduced by mistake. The malefactor was a CPU support list launched by board partner MSI, which included some new models. Now Asus launched an updated CPU support list, too, where potentially new AMD CPUs can be found.
In the first instance the list includes two really new processors, namely Phenom II X3 740 and Phenom II X4 820.
The Phenom II X3 740 is a triple-core processor which fills up the top of the running portfolio of Phenom II X3 705e, Phenom II X3 710 and Phenom II X3 720 BE with 3x 3.0 GHz. The TDP should interestingly keep at 95 watt. If it will be a Black Edition once more can not be seen from the list.
The Phenom II X4 820 will support Phenom II X4 805 and Phenom II X4 810. With 4x 2.8 GHz it is 200 MHz faster than the Phenom II X4 810. The TDP is mentioned with unchanged 95 watt, too.
Furthermore, the often-announced Phenom II X4 945 with 95 instead of 125 watt TDP can be found in the CPU support list again. Also, the list contains the following, in Germany not yet appeared CPUs: Phenom II X2 545, Phenom II X3 700e, Phenom II X4 805, Phenom II X4 900e, Phenom II X4 910 and Phenom II X4 925.
The information is quite reliable. It is not unusual that the board partners are provided information several weeks before the actual product launch.
